Day 1Arrival and accommodation in Bled

The five-day Slovenia itinerary will start in Bled, one of the most beautiful Alpine resorts in Europe. Resting in the foothills of the Julian Alps and set along the glacial Lake Bled, it is among the most famous attractions in Slovenia. You’ll have the entire day to yourself, so you can take in the magnificent views, stroll around and get a feel for the place. Make sure to also get some rest for all of the adventures that lay ahead.

Overnight stay in Bled.

Day 2Triglav National Park

After a hearty breakfast, we will experience the best that Bled has to offer. We will take a tour of the Bled Castle, and go for a relaxing ride with the traditional Pletna boat to Bled Island. For a bit of healthy exercise, we will hike along the stunning natural attraction of Vintgar Gorge. We will also visit the less crowded but just as beautiful Lake Bohinj located in the heart of Triglav National Park. You can also take a cable car to Vogel Mountain, rising above the lake and offering some of the best views in the country, before returning back to Bled.

Day 3From Karst to Mediterranean

Don’t believe a fearsome dragon was living in the Karst underworld? After a scenic drive to Postojna, you will see with your own eyes that the stories are true when you meet the “baby dragons” living in Postojna cave. World-renowned for its mysterious underground world, you will find out that Karst is just as interesting on the surface. If you are brave enough, step into the fairytale world of knights at Predjama Castle, which is the largest cave castle in the world. Experience the company of over 300 Lipizzan horses in Lipica, one of the oldest stud farms on the planet. After an eventful day, our group will depart for the beautiful seaside where you’ll have some free time in the evening to explore.

Day 4Slovenian Coast

Make sure to put on some sunscreen and grab your sunglasses when exploring the sunny and warm Slovenian Coast. The famous old town Piran will charm you with its well-preserved ancient town walls and the narrow streets with countless stories to tell. Did you know that this picturesque town grew with the help of salt? Prepare to be amazed when visiting the Sečovlje salt pans, which are one of the last remaining salt pans in the Mediterranean that still maintain the 700-year-old tradition of producing salt by hand. In the late afternoon, we’ll head back to Ljubljana where you can enjoy the town’s lively atmosphere and the fantastic nightlife.

Day 5Ljubljana

Our final day of your 5 days in Slovenia will be spent strolling the lively Slovenian capital. We will discover the city’s main sights and attractions on a walking tour through the old town and enjoy a leisurely boat ride on the Ljubljanica River, which will let us see the city from a different perspective. We will also pay a visit to the Ljubljana Castle, a mighty fort overlooking the city, which offers a breathtaking view not only of Ljubljana but also of the Alps in the north. As you might have heard, Ljubljana is known as a mecca for foodies, so we recommend trying some traditional cuisine for the perfect finish to your Slovenian holiday.

Can you assist with pre or post tour accommodation?

Yes, we will easily arrange additional overnights upon your request. If you are looking to book only one additional night before, or after the tour, you are welcome to choose the option during the checkout process. If you are arriving few days before the tour departure or you would like to extend your stay after the tour end, get in touch with our agents, and they will help you with booking your pre or post tour accommodation at the same hotel as the one that is already booked for your stay.

What is cancellation policy?

CANCELLATION BY THE GUEST

In case of cancellation by the guest, refund policy will be applied by the terms stated in the list below. The guest is obligated to send official written cancellation notice. Given refund policy will be applied from the time of receiving the notification in writing. The shown refund amount represents a percentage of the total tour price.

For cancellation up to 60 days before departure – 100% refund.
For cancellation from 59 days till 46 days before departure – 90% refund.
For cancellation from 45 days till 31 days before departure – 80% refund.
For cancellation from 30 days till 16 days before departure – 70% refund.
For cancellation from 15 days till 8 days before departure – 50% refund.
For cancellation from 7 days till the day of departure – 0% refund.

Beside all standard reasons, cancellation policy will also apply if tour participant cancel the tour with a reason that includes medical ground, visa issues, jury service etc.
