Today, medieval walls still encircle the old town, where narrow streets weave past historical landmarks, including the Large Square with the Brukenthal Museum – Romania’s oldest museum, the Small Square, the Council Tower, the Bridge of Lies, the Stairs Passage, and the Orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, inspired by Hagia Sophia.
